The punishing roads and frenetic pace of pro cycling’s biggest races gives them a highly visible stage that allows them to showcase the exhilarating performance of an Acura.

Highlights from America's Greatest Stage Race

We executed 2019 Acura NSX and 2019 Acura RDX product launches at the highly visible Amgen Tour of California, a race seen on TV around the world. To open the week, the team helped host the curtain drop on the all-new 2019 RDX via a special team-wrapped edition. It was the first 2019 RDX on American soil. Alongside it was the sublime 2019 NSX, an award-winning supercar put to service as a bike racing support vehicle. Robust media plans generated coverage before, during and after the race.

Film and photo assets were captured by world class photographer and motion shooter Shawn Michienzi, and content was featured on Acura’s social media channels.

The Results

Millions of brand impressions were generated via in-person events, globally televised TV, and streaming coverage. Team-produced film and video content drove high engagement, shares and likes on Acura’s social channels. Fans all over California got up close and personal, with selfies next to and inside the NSX and RDX. Ultimately, the promotion turned millions of heads on some of the busiest and most iconic roads in the US.
